What is included in the All Event Ticket Package?
The All-Event Ticket Package includes tickets to each of the ticketed sessions, running from Sunday, January 23-Sunday, January 30. The All-Event Ticket Package also includes admission to practice sessions at the Greensboro Coliseum Arena. The All-Event Ticket Package does not include admission to the Skating Spectacular; however, you can purchase your same seat for the Skating Spectacular as long as you place that order at the same time as your All-Event Ticket Package order.

 

What is the schedule of events?
Saturday, January 22nd is an Official Practice Day, and competition runs from January 23rd-30th. A full schedule of events is now available here.

 

When will individual tickets go on sale?
Individual tickets are now on sale! Please visit Ticketmaster or the Greensboro Coliseum box office to order yours today!

 

How can I purchase group tickets?

When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets will be mailed approximately 30 days prior to the event.

 

Will practices be open to the public?
Practices in the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center are free and open to the public at all times. Practices in the Greensboro Coliseum Arena are only open to All-Event Ticket holders.

 

Where is FanFest and what can I do there?
FanFest is a fun, interactive fan experience, devoted to the fans and the sport of figure skating! Victory ceremonies, autograph sessions, movie screenings, on-ice demonstrations, concerts, trading posts, and sponsor booths highlight this fan-centric event! FanFest will be held in the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center, adjacent to the practice rink and is free and open to the public starting Tuesday January 25th and continues through the end of the Championships on Sunday January 30th. Is there enough parking to hold all the spectators for the events?
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is quite large – with approximately 6,000 spaces – and even with the current construction, there will be plenty of parking for the 2011 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

 

Are you still selling Silver Shuttle Bus passes?
Silver Shuttle passes are now sold out and therefore, are no longer being sold. However, parking passes for the entire week are available for purchase on Ticketmaster. We also recommend Enterprise Rental Car (special event rates are here) and local taxis at the hotels and Coliseum for your local transportation needs.

 

Can I buy a parking pass for the whole 8 days of the Championships?
Yes, a parking pass is available for purchase for $49 here. This parking pass is good for unlimited in-and-outs throughout the entire 9 days of the event.

Daily parking rates are as follows:

January 22nd - $4
January 23rd-January 26th - $7
January 27th-January 30th - $10

Will food or water bottles be allowed into the Coliseum?
No outside food or beverage will be allowed in the Coliseum.

 

What type of food is available at the Coliseum?
Traditional arena food is available, including hotdogs, hamburgers, and various sandwiches. There will also be a café within FanFest, which will offer a variety of different buffet-style options, including salads, wraps, entrees, and other healthy food choices. Where are Practice Sessions held?
Practice sessions are held in both the Special Events Center at the Greensboro Coliseum and the Greensboro Coliseum Arena. Practice sessions held at the Special Events Center are free and open to the public. Greensboro Coliseum Arena practices are only open to All-Event Ticket purchasers. Practice begins on Saturday, January 22nd.

 

What is the Skating Spectacular?
Sometimes referred to as the Exhibition of Champions, the Skating Spectacular is a chance for the champions of the week to showcase their talents without the pressure of competition. The champions for all disciplines in the Novice and Junior division will be featured, as well as all medal recipients on the Senior level.

 

Are some of the skaters going to sign autographs?
Yes, at both FanFest and on the Coliseum Concourse. A more detailed schedule will be announced.

 

What is the weather like in NC at the end of January?
It varies, but usually, it is in the mid 50s. However, this year, there have been cooler temperatures in recent weeks, and it has snowed multiple times. Meteorologists are predicting temperatures in the mid 50s during the day, and low 20s at night during the 2011 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

 

What is the temperature inside the Coliseum in the stands?
It should be in the 60s on average, but it will vary with proximity to the ice.

 

How long are the skating events?
They vary, but the average length of a session is about 2.5 hours. It depends on the number of skaters and the events. Please look at the full schedule here for further details.
