U.S. Figure Skating Site Visit

On Monday, April 26, Scottie Bibb, U.S. Figure Skating's Director of Communications and Public Relations, visited Greensboro and the Piedmont Triad to review facilities and plans for media operations for the 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Scottie stayed at the Sheraton Greensboro, headquarters hotel for the Championships, and spent the major part of the day at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex laying out press areas, and meeting with NC 2011 and Coliseum Complex executives. "It was a very productive trip," said Faryn Driscoll, Director of Operations for the 2011 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. "Scottie helped us map out what we think is an ideal configuration for media services that will optimize the event for the more than 200 media expected at the Championships."
